Terms of use for TypeFix AI

Last updated: 17 October 2026. These terms govern the purchase and use of TypeFix AI software and prepaid credits sold on astuteresolutions.in by Astute Solutions (“we”, “us”).

The product

TypeFix AI is desktop software for Windows 10 and Windows 11. It provides a dashboard, a system-tray assistant, and optional prepaid credits used to correct, rewrite, shorten, or explain text you select. We sell a personal license and credit packs priced in Indian Rupees (INR). We do not sell physical goods.

Account and sign-in

The desktop app signs you in with Google using the openid, email, and profile scopes. We never ask for your Gmail password. You are responsible for the Google account you use and for any Gemini, OpenAI, or Claude key you paste into the app. That key is stored in Windows Credential Manager on your PC.

License

A Personal purchase gives one named user a non-exclusive, non-transferable license to install TypeFix AI on Windows PCs that the user controls. You may not resell, rent, or redistribute the installer. Credits are for the account that buys them and have no cash value outside the refund rules on the Refund and Cancellation Policy.

Acceptable use

You may not use TypeFix AI to break the law, to attempt to extract provider keys, or to send content you do not have the right to process. Password fields are ignored by the app. You must follow the terms of the model provider whose key or credits you use.

Prices and payment

Prices on astuteresolutions.in are in INR and are the amounts payable at checkout, plus any tax the payment page shows before you pay. The checkout page on this site confirms the order. A completed purchase is charged through the payment service used at checkout, under that service’s own terms.

Delivery, refunds, and privacy

Delivery is digital, as described in the Shipping and Delivery Policy. Cancellations and refunds follow the Refund and Cancellation Policy. Personal data is handled as described in the Privacy Policy.

Availability

The assistant depends on Windows, on apps that expose selected text, and on the model provider. Some apps do not expose a selection. In those windows the shortcut Ctrl+Alt+. and the right-click command remain available. We do not promise uninterrupted access to a third-party model.

Liability

TypeFix AI suggests text. You decide whether to copy a suggestion. To the extent allowed by the Consumer Protection Act, 2019 and other Indian law, we are not liable for business loss, lost profits, or decisions you make from suggested text. This does not limit liability that Indian law does not allow us to limit.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws of India, subject to any right you have to approach a consumer forum.
